From the time she was a toddler the mantle of worship has been evident on Jill's life. One of the fondest memories her parents share is Jill at just two years old, singing in the Spirit in the bathtub. When asked what she was doing, she put her hands on her hips and simply replied, "I'm singing Hallelujah, Praise You Jesus, mommy". That early glimpse of the touch of God on her life was just a taste of great things to come.
The miraculous was also taking place in Jill from an early age. At age three, doctors informed her parents she would need to wear a body brace to correct disproportionate limbs on one side of her body. Through the power of prayer and the faith of her family, Jill was completely healed. She never spent a single day in a body brace and once again the touch of God was working in her life for a greater purpose.
While other teens were experimenting with drugs & alcohol and turning to sex for a sense of identity and self-worth, Jill could be found serving in the church. She started developing her musical & singing gifts on the Praise & Worship team at her father's church, leading the congregation in worship for the first time at just fourteen years old.
The mantle and anointing on her life continued to increase as she stepped out and continued to serve God with her talents.
After graduating high school, Jill felt called to pursue more training to develop her gifts and talents for leading in praise and worship. In 1998, she traveled to Sydney, Australia to attend the Hillsong School of Music, world renowned for their excellence and influence in the area of worship. While there, she had access to some of today's most influential worship leaders and musicians. She sat under the teaching of Darlene Zchech, Reuben Morgan & Russell Fragar, as well as other greats in the Kingdom.
Jill returned to the States with increased vision and a determination to see God's will fulfilled in and through her life.
Today, Jill is walking out her destiny as the Worship Pastor for OBXNation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She continues to serve the Lord with gladness and her desire is to lead God's people into His presence.
